Creative Belly Band Series - Ep 4 - Wrap Around Writing Space with Hidden Pocket

In this episode of the Creative Belly Band Series, I’m sharing a tag-shaped belly band design that includes a wrap-around writing space and a hidden pocket.

This interactive ephemera piece adds both function and interest to your journal pages. The tag base creates a structured focal point, while the wrap-around writing space provides plenty of room for journaling. Tucked within the design is a hidden pocket that can hold small notes, quotes, or additional ephemera.

Projects like this are a wonderful way to bring both storytelling and interactivity into your journals while making beautiful use of paper scraps and printed digitals.

Creative Belly Bands are one of my favorite ways to add dimension and purpose to a page, and this design is easy to adapt for many different journal themes.
