Today I’m adding a sliding ephemera piece to my Gathering In journal, and this one has a few surprises tucked into its layers!
A journal card slides to reveal an image waiting behind it, while the fussy-cut details have their own hidden features to discover. I love that the piece looks lovely just as it is, but there is more to see when you begin to explore.
I’m sharing several finished examples, each with its own personality. The soft greens, butterflies, botanicals and vintage textures feel right at home in Gathering In, and I’ve included a cozy Christmas version to show how easily the idea works with a completely different collection of papers.
