Creating a Full Spread Lace Pocket | Pages in the Making – Her Garden of Grace Journal

There is something so timeless about beautiful lace.

In today's episode of Pages in the Making, we are creating the final interactive page for my Her Garden of Grace journal—a full spread pocket made from vintage lace.

To give the lace enough body to become a functional pocket, I reinforced it with Heat n Bond before stitching it across both pages. The result is a soft, elegant pocket that feels perfectly at home within the journal while still being practical enough to hold six journal cards.

I also added a treasured piece of embroidered trim that gently trails across the spread, adding movement, texture and just a touch of romance.

Sometimes the quietest pages become our favorites.
