Pages in the Making | Envelope Flips, Tuck Spots & Vellum Belly Band
Hello friends,
In today’s Pages in the Making episode, we create an interactive journal spread filled with envelope flips, hidden tuck spots, a soft vellum belly band, and plenty of additional writing space.
This spread features envelopes used as both flip elements and tuck spots, allowing the page to open, move, and reveal more places for journaling. Across the center, a vellum belly band adds a soft transparent layer while also creating another functional place to tuck journal cards.
There are eight total cards included in this spread, giving lots of room for memories, photographs, favorite quotes, prayers, or quiet personal reflections. I love how each card adds another opportunity to interact with the page without overwhelming the overall design.
This was one of those Pages in the Making sessions where the structure stayed simple, but the function continued to grow with each layer. The result is a soft, useful, interactive spread that feels full of possibility while still leaving room for your own story.
