Dried Rose Poetry | Soft Vintage Envelope Flip & Stuffed Pocket Page
In today’s Pages in the Making – Her Garden of Grace episode, we create a soft and poetry-filled journal spread using a coffee dyed junk mail envelope that wraps around the page to form an interactive flip element filled with layered tucks and hidden spaces.
This page came together slowly and intuitively — lace spilling from pockets, worn papers softened with age, delicate rub-ons, dried roses, meaningful words, and vintage-inspired collage elements all blending into a page that feels gentle and deeply reflective.
Inside the wrap-around envelope are layered journaling cards, poetry-inspired sentiments, vintage tags, and quiet little details tucked into every corner. The soft pink florals paired with aged neutrals and music paper create a romantic and timeworn feel while still leaving beautiful writing space throughout the design.
This process is less about perfection and more about allowing the page to unfold naturally — following softness, texture, and emotion as the layers build.
I hope this video feels like a peaceful studio visit and inspires you to create with what you already have around you — even something as simple as a junk mail envelope.
Thank you for spending time here with me in Her Garden of Grace.
