Crash Your TRASH | Turn Discarded Packaging into Beautiful Fairy Ephemera
Today we are diving into another Crash Your TRASH episode where ordinary packaging is transformed into something beautiful.
Instead of throwing away product packaging, let's look at it through creative eyes.
In this tutorial I'll show you how I transformed discarded packaging into a beautiful fairy-themed keepsake set featuring four coordinating pieces:
• A whimsical fairy dangle
• A uniquely shaped journal card created from jewelry packaging
• A large decorative tag
• A beautiful interactive ephemera holder that secures four small journal cards beneath a soft seam binding closure
This project is filled with layers, texture and interactive details while giving new life to items that would normally end up in the trash.
I hope this project inspires you to begin looking at everyday packaging a little differently. Sometimes the most beautiful journal elements begin as something completely unexpected.
