A Quiet Collection | Interactive Gatefold Folio with Hidden Writing Space | Gathering In

Some journal pieces are meant to be admired, and some invite you to slow down, open them up, and spend a little time inside. 🤎
Today I’m adding “A Quiet Collection” to my Gathering In Journal—a multifunctional folio-style pocket with a lovely vintage botanical feel and several ways to interact with it.
The gatefold opens to reveal a comfortable writing space, and there’s an additional flip with a gusseted pocket. I’ve added another gusseted pocket to the back, too.
The folio rests inside a pocket attached to the journal page, so the entire piece can be removed when it’s time to write.
I love that the writing space is truly usable without having to wrestle with the journal itself!
The muted greens, aged papers, delicate flowers, lace, and that little glimpse of a face give this one such a quiet, collected feeling. It’s a piece with plenty to discover, but it still feels right at home in Gathering In.
